Role and Responsibilities
The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below:
- Operate Machine daily..
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow standard safety practices, procedures, and adhere to all guidelines.
- Measure and cut metal as required.
- Work in an efficient and timely manner.
- Interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and order specifications.
- Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
- Able to set up, adjust, and operate machinery to produce parts within specifications in a sheet metal environment.
- Uphold quality workmanship.
- Available to work Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and occasional over time as needed.
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience operating a Machine.
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal.
- Basic knowledge of how to read measuring devices (tape measure, caliper, micrometer).
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, production layouts, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, etc.
- Required Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
