What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Porter position at Carolina Auto Auction?
Carolina Auto Auction is a family owned and operated business in Williamston, SC. We have been serving the automobile dealers and finance companies since 1969 and in SC since 1989. We believe in providing a superior customer experience for everyone that walks through our doors. We are one of the largest independent auction in the Southeast United States. Most auto auction are similar but at Carolina Auto Auction we believe that our team of talented individuals is what sets us apart in our industry.
We are looking for a detail orientated individual to come on to our team. This person is responsible for moving vehicles through our process. Must be able to work in the elements. You will move vehicles around the lot/arena and keep the flow organized and flowing.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Move vehicles through the CR process or through our Detailing department
- communication
- Must have a good 3 year driving record
- driving vehicle from one spot to another
This position has two different schedules: Either a 4/10 schedule Mon-Thur or Tue-Friday 7-6 or 8 hour day Mon-Fri (depending on dept)
