What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Cashier position at Carol Stream Park District?
- Starting at $17.50/hour.

- Part-time position (employees do not work more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year).
- Ability to provide excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Serve food, beverages, and desserts to customers.
- Properly record all transactions via point of sale system (POS) and inform guests of amounts owed; includes all cash and credit card transactions.
- Sell and serve alcoholic beverages, while making sure customers are of legal age for the consumption of alcohol.
- Restock alcoholic beverages as necessary.
- Oversee and assist with daily and nightly cleaning, and restocking of stand prior to closing.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and mandatory tournaments.
- Must obtain BASSET certification within 30 days of hire.
- Qualified candidates must be mature, responsible, and dependable.
- Must follow, administer, and implement Park District policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings when required.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
