GENERAL SUMMARY: The Carmel Swim Academy is a pool facility that offers various programs to the community. The Carmel Swim Academy is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member responsible for the cleaning of the Carmel Swim Academy.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Individuals in this job will be subject to cleaning the Carmel Swim Academy outside of the immediate pool area, which includes a front desk reception area/lobby, upstairs viewing area, family bathroom, two locker rooms, and a hallway. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and showers.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean windows.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance, repair, or supply needs to CSA Directors.
- Check the security of the facility (locked doors) before leaving.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed (mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends)
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be 18 years or older
