Overview
Carmel Point Landscapes is seeking an experienced
Project Manager – Landscape Construction
to oversee high-end residential landscape projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires strong field leadership, budget control, and the ability to manage multiple custom projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Manage landscape construction projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors
- Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and change orders
- Conduct site walks, job meetings, and quality control inspections
- Review plans, specifications, and site conditions for constructability
- Ensure projects meet design intent, client expectations, and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients, designers, and internal teams
- Resolve field issues efficiently and proactively
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in landscape construction project management
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, irrigation, hardscape, and planting
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proven experience managing budgets, timelines, and crews
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project tracking tools and basic construction software
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel between job sites
Preferred
- Experience with high-end residential estates
- Background working with landscape architects and custom designs
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
