JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Account Executive (JAE) will work as part of a team and will be responsible for performing a number of high-level duties and assisting with multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Relations or a related field, plus a minimum of one year experience in lifestyle and hospitality public relations. The candidate should be highly self-motivated, organized, and professional, with superior writing skills and the ability to manage their workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have strong familiarity with various media outlets.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing daily media tracking, clipping, and compiling press reports
- Assisting in client service, research, media relations, and strategy development to deliver integrated communications campaigns
- Developing and maintaining successful relationships with key media members and managing media contact databases
- Writing press kit documents, media alerts, pitch letters, bios, and other materials
- Pitching and securing media coverage on behalf of clients to regional media (national on a case-by-case basis)
- Coordinating and overseeing photoshoots, television shoots, interviews, and other on-site events
- Monitoring trends and researching articles and suitable story opportunities/angles for clients
- Leading individual projects on a case-by-case basis
- Training and mentoring interns
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field
- Minimum of one year experience in lifestyle and hospitality public relations
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and professional
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Familiarity with various media outlets

Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
