What are the responsibilities and job description for the Doggy Daycare/Boarding Attendant *WEEKENDS REQUIRED position at Carm's Dog House?
We are searching for a friendly individual who is committed to high quality pet care, can work independently and in a team setting, and of course... loves dogs!
We need someone who can work:
- AM shift (6:30AM-2PM) on Mondays
- PM shift (until 6PM and/or 9PM)
- Weekends (8AM-5PM, 8AM-3PM, 3PM-9PM)
Some of the duties will include:
Daycare and Boarding
- Comfortable with all dog breeds, large & small - everything from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs!
- Supervise & monitor groups of dogs, both large and small (40 )
- Cleaning up after dogs promptly to ensure a sanitary environment
- Cleaning daycare play areas and boarding kennels
- Administering medications to both dogs and cats
- Feeding and letting dogs out
- Remain active and on your feet for extended periods of time throughout the day
- Communicate effectively with coworkers while also working independently when needed
- Confidently handle and manage dogs of all sizes and energy levels
- Maintain strong organization and strong communication skills
