What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Crew Chief position at Carlson Engineering, LLC?
The Survey Crew Chief will perform research, staking, collection and electronic transfer of data, detailed record keeping, adherence to safety practices and supervision of field staff. Duties may vary from project to project.
Essential job duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Section subdivision surveys
· Boundary surveys
· Topographic surveys
· ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
· Construction layout and staking
· As-built surveys
· Coordinate equipment maintenance, inventory, repair, and inspections with supervisor or equipment manager
· Professional and complete written and electronic communication with internal staff and external clients
· Provide detailed record keeping and field notes
Requirements:
· Five years field experience
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned tasks
· Ability to work independently and with a crew
· Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff and personality types
· Proficiency in computer programs such as Trimble Business Office and Microsoft Office
· Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
