Job Summary
Carlos's Cabinets is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Maker to build, assemble, and finish custom kitchen cabinets and related wood components. The ideal candidate will have experience working with woodworking tools, interpreting measurements and plans, and producing high-quality cabinetry that meets customer specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble kitchen cabinets, drawers, doors, and shelving components
- Read and interpret cabinet drawings, measurements, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and prepare wood and other cabinet materials
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely
- Install hinges, handles, drawer slides, and other cabinet hardware
- Sand, finish, and inspect cabinet components for quality and accuracy
- Verify measurements and ensure components fit according to design requirements
- Identify material defects and correct workmanship issues
- Maintain an organized and clean workshop
- Follow workplace safety procedures and project deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous cabinetmaking, carpentry, or woodworking experience preferred
- Knowledge of cabinet construction, materials, and assembly techniques
- Ability to read measurements, drawings, and basic technical plans
- Familiarity with woodworking tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
