As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll set the tone for their visit with your warmth and efficiency. What You’ll Do
- The Treatment Guide: Help patients navigate their dental journey by organizing and explaining treatment plans clearly and compassionately.
- The Insurance Expert: Proactively check insurance coverage and verify benefits to ensure patients have accurate cost estimates before their appointments.
- The Financial Counselor: Assist patients with the financial aspects of their treatment, including discussing payment options (e.g., CareCredit), processing payments, and setting up manageable financial arrangements.
- The Welcome Committee: Greet patients warmly, manage the check-in/out process, and ensure a seamless office experience.
- The Tech Specialist: Coordinate busy schedules using Oryx (or Dentrix/Eaglesoft) to keep our clinic running on time and maintain precise electronic health records.
- The Communicator: Manage multi-line phones and handle patient inquiries with professional "phone-side" manner.
What You Bring
- Experience: Previous experience in a dental or medical front office (highly preferred).
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft) and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with dental terminology, CDT coding, and insurance verification.
- Language: Bilingual skills are a huge plus!
- Attitude: A proactive, "how can I help?" mindset and excellent attention to detail.
