Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews menu for scheduled meal prior to serving in order to answer any questions from residents or guests.
- Cleans assigned dining and serving areas prior to meal service and assures that all place settings are complete.
- Assists residents with their menu selections within the guidelines established by the Dietitian and Director of Medical Services.
- Notes meal orders and communicates them to the kitchen; serves meals to residents and guests as ordered.
- Assures that plates are properly garnished as directed by the Chef.
- Sets, clears, cleans and resets tables as needed and required.
- Follows and promotes adherence to health, safety and sanitation regulations
- Assists with department’s quality assurance
- Applies “5 Star” customer service approach to all aspects of job.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Reports to the appropriate managers any known or suspected violations of policy and procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct.
- Attends required in-services and training.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
