Job Description:
- Prepares meals for skilled nursing, assistance & independent residents
- Assures that all food produced is of the highest quality and served at the proper temperatures and regarding proper sanitation requirements
- Cleans all production equipment and counters after each project and maintains proper sanitation in food production areas
- Attends daily staff meetings regarding food preparation
- All cooks will follow the standard recipes for all food preparation from the recipe book
- Committed to working with residents and families to develop and implement strategies that promote person-centered care.
- Applies “5 Star” customer service approach in all aspects of job.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Reports to the appropriate managers any known or suspected violations of policy and procedures, regulations or standards of conduct.
- Attends required in-services and training.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
