Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests as they walk into the restaurant
- Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
- Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area
- Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
- Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
- Follows and promotes adherence to health, safety and sanitation regulations
- Assists with department’s quality assurance
- Applies “5 Star” customer service approach to all aspects of job.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Reports to the appropriate managers any known or suspected violations of policy and procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct.
- Attends required in-services and training.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Excellent customer service skills especially with geriatric Residents.
- Demonstrates on-going continuing education.
