Duties
- Assist with the delivery, unloading, and transportation of party supplies and equipment using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
- Set up tables, chairs, decorations, lighting, and other event essentials according to event specifications and safety standards
- Organize inventory and ensure all materials are accounted for using inventory management systems; prepare items for quick access during setup
- Load and unload supplies from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury while adhering to safety protocols
- Break down event setups after celebrations, carefully packing away decorations and equipment for future use or storage
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely setup and breakdown, maintaining a clean and safe workspace throughout the process
Requirements
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely during setup and breakdown tasks
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to materials handling
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload procedures, and safety protocol adherence
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform manual tasks over extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency
