Carl Black Chevrolet of Nashville is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Receptionist / Customer Service Representative to join our team.
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience both in person and over the phone. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates well, stays organized, and can comfortably manage a busy front desk environment.
Automotive experience is not required. Customer service, receptionist, administrative, hospitality, or similar experience is a plus.
Schedule- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Full-time, daytime position
Up to $20.00 per hour based on experience
What You'll Do- Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system
- Direct customers and calls to the appropriate department or team member
- Assist clients with general questions and dealership information
- Perform basic administrative duties, including filing, copying, and document handling
- Assist with scheduling and other front-office needs as necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Communicate effectively with our sales, service, and administrative teams
- Help ensure every customer receives a positive first impression of our dealership
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong verbal communication and phone skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable handling multiple phone lines and customer interactions
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to stay organized and professional in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Previous receptionist, administrative, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred, but automotive experience is not required.
