Secretary – Education Talent Search

POSITION:
ETS Secretary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Carl Albert State College has an opening for an Educational Talent Search (ETS) Secretary. This is a full-time position based at the Poteau campus. Educational Talent Search is a Federally-funded TRiO program designed to assist disadvantaged adults to enter post-secondary education. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Coordination, planning and implementing of general office practices.
• Computer data entry; word processing; maintenance of confidential records
• Compile and maintain all necessary ETS employee paperwork required by grant and institution
• Basic clerical secretarial duties
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous secretarial experience preferred. Strong computer skills, attention to detail.

SALARY:
$ 25,000 annually, with a full benefit package (employer-paid health, dental, life insurance, retirement, and a generous leave package).
