Compassionate Caregiver – Hospice / End-of-Life Care Experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver with experience supporting individuals during end-of-life or hospice care. The ideal candidate understands the emotional, physical, and dignity-centered needs of clients and their families during this important stage of life.

This role involves providing comfort-focused care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities while maintaining a calm, respectful, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Assist with mobility and repositioning
• Offer companionship and emotional support to the client and family
• Monitor comfort levels and communicate changes to family or medical team
• Assist with medication reminders as directed
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Maintain a peaceful and respectful environment for the client

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with hospice or end-of-life care
• Compassionate, patient, and emotionally supportive demeanor
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with dignity and respect
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (not required)
• Background check required
