We are hiring a Caregiver Manager and Recruiter to take ownership of caregiver recruitment, caregiver scheduling, team performance, and day-to-day care management support. This is more than an office role. It is a leadership position that directly impacts caregiver success, client satisfaction, family peace of mind, and the overall quality of care we deliver.

What You’ll Own

Caregiver Recruitment & Hiring

You will lead the effort to attract, recruit, interview, and onboard high-quality caregivers who are committed to providing dependable, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting and interviewing caregiver candidates
• Supporting caregiver hiring and onboarding
• Helping build a strong caregiver pipeline
• Identifying caregivers who align with our mission, values, and care standards
• Creating a positive first impression of Caring Senior Service as an employer of choice

Caregiver Management & Team Support

As a Caregiver Manager, you will help create a culture where caregivers feel supported, valued, accountable, and equipped to succeed.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing daily guidance, coaching, and support to caregivers
• Setting clear expectations for professionalism, reliability, and quality of care
• Reinforcing company standards, policies, and best practices
• Building strong relationships with caregivers through consistent communication
• Helping improve caregiver retention, engagement, and performance

Caregiver Scheduling & Coverage

You will play a key role in caregiver scheduling and ensuring clients receive consistent, reliable care.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing caregiver schedules and client coverage needs
• Matching caregivers to clients based on skills, personality, availability, and care needs
• Responding quickly and calmly to call-offs or urgent coverage changes
• Helping maintain continuity of care for clients and families
• Using scheduling systems to keep operations organized and accurate

Care Management & Client Support

This role supports the overall care management process by helping ensure clients, families, and caregivers have a positive and reliable care experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting smooth client onboarding and ongoing service coordination
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and office team members
• Addressing concerns quickly and helping resolve issues with confidence
• Supporting care quality, service consistency, and client satisfaction
• Partnering with the team to ensure every client receives GreatCare

Lead From the Front

At Caring Senior Service, our leaders step up when needed. On occasion, you may assist with activities of daily living or companionship care to ensure uninterrupted service for a client.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dependable, confident, organized, and comfortable leading people in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal qualifications include:

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership, management, recruiting, staffing, or team coordination experience
• Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare, staffing, recruiting, or customer service is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying calm and professional
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and caregiver scheduling systems
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
• Ability to pass background and registry checks
• Positive, accountable, team-first leadership style
• Genuine desire to support caregivers and serve seniors in the community

Compensation & Schedule

• Starting salary: $42,000–$47,000 plus bonus
• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Rotating on-call responsibilities for urgent evening and weekend coverage support
• Office-based role in the Hartford area with local travel as needed
