Duties
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the assisted living community, including supervising staff and managing daily activities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans that address residents' unique needs.
- Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health regulation policies related to long-term care facilities.
- Lead efforts in staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and competent team.
- Foster positive relationships with residents’ families and coordinate communication regarding care plans and community updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident records, incident reports, and regulatory compliance reports.
- Promote a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous improvement within the community.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations.
- Background in nursing or healthcare administration with nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with developing care plans tailored to residents’ individual needs.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and healthcare compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging residents’ families, staff members, and regulatory agencies.
