Job Duties:
- Support safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents’ rights;
- Coordinate projects maintenance and upkeep with Administrator/Office Manager and home office;
- Ensure compliance with AHJ.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on, including but not limited to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Respond promptly to requests for assistance relating to maintenance;
- Provide or coordinate routine grounds maintenance
- Assure that all safety equipment is in proper working order
- Provide finish work, surface repair, painting,
- Assist in planning and implementing large projects.
- Document work in the manner required by home office
- Be willing and able to assist in other departments of the community

Schedule:
- Full-Time: Mon - Fri
- On-call as needed
Qualifications and Job Skills:
- Knowledge of maintenance regulations in an Assisted Living (AL) setting preferred;
- Previous experience working with seniors, or in an AL setting, preferred;
- Must pass a criminal background check & motor vehicle record check;
- Willing to work nights and weekends, as needed for emergencies;
- Must be able to follow safety regulations;
- Must have a working knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep;
- Must have strong communication skills & dedication to customer service;
- Must have computer skills;
- Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds routinely;
- Able to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, reach and climb ladders.
