As a home care caregiver, you will provide essential services to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently in their own homes. These services may include:
- Personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assistance with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping
- Participates in recreational/social activities
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report client health and safety issues, observes and documents client's behavior
- May accompany clients to appointments
Eligibility:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Caregiver Qualifications:
We accept caregivers with any of the following credentials or qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Personal Care Aide (PCA)
- Motivated caregivers
Additional information and requirements:
6 months experience working in a healthcare facility or home care is preferred
Must be able to pass a criminal history check and a drug screening
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of procedures performed by a Certified Nursing Assistant or be willing to be trained
Must be willing to clock in and out using electronic verification systems
Required Credentials:
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- TB/PPD
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Auto Insurance
