Job Summary
We are urgently hiring compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal assistance, and mobility.
- Safely assist with patient transfers and positioning using proper techniques and equipment, including Hoyer lifts when required.
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, while promptly communicating any changes in the patient's condition.
- Assist with medication reminders and support medication administration in accordance with agency policies and care plans.
- Observe and report changes in patients' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition, particularly those receiving memory care, dementia care, hospice, or Alzheimer's care.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, meal preparation, tidying living spaces, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Provide compassionate companionship while promoting each client's dignity, independence, and overall well-being.
- Follow all HIPAA regulations, infection control procedures, and agency policies to ensure quality and compliant care.
Qualifications
- Current CNA or HHA certification (as required by state regulations).
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals in home health, hospice, memory care, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation practices, and home healthcare procedures.
- Ability to safely use patient transfer equipment, including Hoyer lifts, and perform physical caregiving tasks as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Understanding of home and community-based care regulations and best practices.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are preferred.
