What you’ll do

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, utilizing your knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to uphold compliance.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting to ensure precise financial tracking.
  • Process payroll efficiently while adhering to all relevant regulations and deadlines.
  • Assist in budget preparation and account analysis, providing insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Bill.com Integrations to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain organized records of journal entries, debits & credits, and other essential financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with the HOA board and management team to support administrative functions and enhance community engagement.

Basic qualifications

  • Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
  • Experience in corporate or non-profit accounting is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Bank Fee utilization.
  • Experience with operating/fund accounting.
  • Experience in Customer Relation skills.
