What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist position at Carillon Assisted Living?
Carillon Assisted Living, a Raleigh-based company in the business of building and operating assisted living communities, is building and opening communities for its new brand, Calyx Living. As we grow, we are growing the team, seeking to hire an Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist to work fully in-office at the corporate office in Raleigh, NC.
Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate monthly processing of billing statements for assisted living and memory care residents.
- Manage census changes (move-ins, transfers, discharges, etc.) and validate payment details with billing platform.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and facilitate month-end close for revenue reporting.
- Analyze AR aging and work with community teams to coordinate collection of past due accounts in accordance with company procedures.
- Cross trained to provide accounts Payable and payroll support as needed.
Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist Qualifications:
- Three to five years of billing experience, with multiple years of Accounts Receivable exposure.
- Experience in supporting accounting, accounts payable, payroll activities is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must be service-oriented, with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor's Degree or combination of experience and Associates Degree highly desired.
