Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Representative (Freight / Logistics) based in Dallas, TX.
You will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with shippers and decision-makers
- Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities through calls, emails, and networking
- Promoting CEF’s trucking and transportation services (FTL, LTL, and related solutions)
- Preparing and presenting quotes, negotiating pricing and terms, and closing deals
- Managing the full sales cycle from first contact to ongoing account management
- Hitting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales and gross profit targets
- Working closely with operations to ensure on-time pickups, deliveries, and excellent customer experience
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in freight/logistics sales, is hungry to grow their book of business, and isn’t afraid of high activity, accountability, and hard work.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in freight, logistics, or transportation
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to present, influence, and close effectively
- Experience building and managing a personal book of business is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics industry is a strong plus
- Solid organizational skills and proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
- Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with operations, dispatch, and leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required with strong industry experience
