Job Description:
The Refrigeration Technician will use hand tools to perform maintenance on refrigeration/utility machinery, ensure food safety and quality, maintain cleanliness and housekeeping, respond to radio calls from other departments, communicate with other departments, and document daily work assigned.
Required qualifications include being eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, being at least 18 years old, following instructions verbally and written, and being able to work alone without supervision.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM's) and troubleshooting of equipment related to the refrigeration/utility department
- Use measuring devices to accurately measure different areas of equipment using the metric or standard system
- Operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) or be eligible to acquire a license and maintain it
