Carex is partnering with a consumer goods industry partner to identify an experienced Coupa Solutions Lead to support enterprise-wide procurement transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Coupa and surrounding SAP S/4HANA solutions that enable Source-to-Pay business processes. The ideal candidate brings deep functional and technical expertise in procurement technologies, experience leading global implementations, and a proven ability to collaborate across business and technology teams in a complex, cross-cultural environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead solution design, configuration, testing, documentation, and delivery of Coupa capabilities integrated with SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Drive implementation and optimization of Source-to-Pay processes, including procurement, sourcing, contracting, invoicing, catalog management, supplier management, and spend analytics.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements while partnering with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Configure Coupa workflows, approval processes, security roles, permissions, custom fields, chart of accounts, purchase order forms, catalogs, suppliers, items, and user setups.
• Manage Coupa data loads and master data processes, including supplier, material, accounting, and catalog information.
• Support integration design and mapping between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA for transactional and master data interfaces.
• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on custom enhancements, workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Create and execute test strategies, support system integration testing, and lead user acceptance testing activities.
• Solve complex business challenges by partnering with business leaders, architects, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Advise stakeholders on standard and emerging technology solutions that drive procurement transformation and business value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and global stakeholders.
• Lead project activities and contribute to successful delivery across geographically distributed teams.
  
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 8 years of IT experience within consulting, systems integration, enterprise technology, or end-user environments.
• 5 years of experience leading procurement transformation initiatives at enterprise scale.
• 7 years of hands-on configuration experience with Coupa and SAP S/4HANA Source-to-Pay, Procurement, and Materials Management solutions.
• Deep expertise in Coupa configuration, implementation, testing, integrations, and production support.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, invoicing, supplier management, and spend analytics.
• Experience integrating Coupa with SAP environments and managing master and transactional data interfaces.
• Proven success participating in multiple full-cycle global SAP or next-generation business transformation implementations.
• Ability to create and review functional specifications for custom enhancements and technical development efforts.
• Strong project leadership, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and team collaboration skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Experience working effectively in global, cross-functional, and cross-cultural environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline required.
• MBA, postgraduate degree, or relevant advanced education preferred.
• SAP functional training and certifications preferred.
• Experience supporting adjacent business functions such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or Order-to-Cash is a plus.
