What You’ll Do
- Define and communicate product vision, goals, and roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives
- Prioritize product features and user stories based on business value, user insights, and stakeholder feedback
- Gather and analyze stakeholder input, ensuring their needs and priorities are clearly represented
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is refined, prioritized, and aligned with product goals
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for backlog items
- Lead and coordinate product releases, including planning scope and communicating updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate daily with development teams to clarify requirements, offer feedback, and support delivery
- Participate in key Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy
- Define and monitor KPIs to track product performance and value delivery
- Ensure features meet quality expectations and collaborate on issue resolution with the development team
- Present regular updates on product progress and performance to stakeholders and leadership
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3 years of experience as a Scrum Product Owner
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven ability to influence and lead without authority
- Skilled in research, usability testing, and turning insights into action
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across development, design, testing, and stakeholder teams
- Proficient in leveraging data to inform decisions and improve product outcomes
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt in a fast-changing environment
- Experience in life insurance or financial services preferred
- PSPO or similar professional product owner certification preferred
