Carex is partnering with an enterprise software platform partner to identify a Product Marketing Manager - Enterprise Technology. This role can be based in Milwaukee, WI or Dallas, TX. This is a foundational Product Marketing Manager role responsible for defining and owning platform positioning in a highly technical, developer-first environment. This position will shape the core narrative, translate complex capabilities into clear business value, and establish differentiated messaging across multiple industries and buyer personas. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role plays a critical part in scaling go-to-market strategy and building the product marketing function from the ground up.

What You'll Do
- Define and evolve core platform positioning, clearly articulating value, target audiences, and competitive differentiation
- Translate complex technical capabilities into compelling, business-oriented messaging for both technical and executive audiences
- Develop industry-specific narratives and use cases across verticals such as government, healthcare, and financial services while maintaining a cohesive platform story
- Partner closely with Product Management to align product roadmap with market positioning and messaging
- Enable Sales teams with clear messaging, personas, and tools to support complex enterprise sales cycles
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new features and capabilities, including messaging, packaging, and internal alignment
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to refine positioning and identify opportunities for differentiation
- Collaborate with content and demand generation teams to ensure consistent execution of messaging across campaigns and channels
- Build and iterate on foundational product marketing assets, including messaging frameworks, personas, and positioning documentation
- 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing, or a related go-to-market role within a B2B software environment
- Experience marketing technical products such as developer tools, API platforms, workflow automation, or data infrastructure
- Proven ability to define positioning and messaging for complex or platform-based products
- Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and extended timelines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts without losing depth or credibility
- Strategic mindset with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, cross-industry environments
- Ability to engage credibly with developers, engineers, and product leaders
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Analytical thinking paired with strong storytelling capabilities
- Experience building frameworks and processes from scratch in high-growth or early-stage environments
- Familiarity with regulated industries such as government, healthcare, or financial services is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
