What You’ll Do
- Design and implement efficient and reliable data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Enhance performance and scalability of existing data workflows and architecture.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Apply data governance best practices and assist in managing metadata repositories.
- Participate in code reviews and begin mentoring junior engineers on the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience working with ETL/ELT frameworks and cloud-based data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with data modeling, metadata management, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to development.
