Carex is partnering with a manufacturing industry partner to hire a seasoned Business Process Consultant to lead enhancements within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework, specifically within the Commercial Brand Review (CBR) and Demand Review (DR) steps. This role will focus on aligning and optimizing the IBP process with North America's standard S&OP/IBP practices, supporting the integration of commercial, demand, and financial planning activities.
What You’ll Do
- Lead IBP process improvements by standardizing and optimizing the Commercial Brand Review and Demand Review steps.
- Collaborate with the North America Consumer IBP core team to build cross-functional capabilities and ensure seamless integration across business units.
- Manage project execution, including planning timelines, organizing cross-functional workshops, and developing executive-level presentations.
- Establish governance routines, escalation thresholds, and formalize the use of risks and opportunities within the IBP framework.
- Strengthen the link between demand planning, supply planning, and financial forecasting.
- Apply data analytics, scenario planning, and range-based forecasting to improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
- Refine the CBR process to enable more accurate inputs and improved alignment with the Demand Review.
- 10 years of experience in business consulting, demand planning, sales forecasting, or S&OP/IBP process improvement.
- Expertise in driving change and building capabilities within cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across commercial, marketing, and finance functions.
- Deep understanding of IBP/S&OP frameworks and demand forecasting methodologies.
- Experience integrating Commercial and Sales processes within an IBP structure.
- Strong executive communication skills and the ability to work within complex organizational environments.
- Preferred experience in scenario planning, consensus demand modeling, and managing planning processes across multiple product categories.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to challenge assumptions using data-driven insights.
