This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders across Procurement, Legal, and Finance and IT development teams, driving efficiency, system adoption, and continuous improvement across Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Supplier Risk Management, and Supplier Onboarding. This position is based in Madison, WI with an expectation of at least three days per week onsite.

What You'll Do
- Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews and workshops, translating business needs into BRDs, FRDs, and Agile user stories with a focus on CLM and Supplier Risk Management
- Analyze current (“As-Is”) procurement processes and design optimized (“To-Be”) workflows
- Map procurement data flows, assess system usage, and identify opportunities to increase adoption, compliance, and efficiency
- Partner with IT to configure Coupa modules including Procurement, CLM, Supplier Management, and Risk Assess
- Manage backend configurations such as approval workflows, custom fields, contract templates, clause libraries, and supplier onboarding forms
- Collaborate with technical teams to support ERP integrations (SAP and Workday), ensuring accurate procure-to-pay data synchronization
- Optimize contract lifecycle processes, improving template management and accelerating approval timelines
- Implement and maintain supplier risk management capabilities
- Develop and enforce compliance checks and integrated systems to mitigate supplier risk
- Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test plans, scenarios, and defect tracking
- Validate system functionality against business requirements and ensure high-quality releases
- Support change management initiatives, including training materials, communication plans, and post-go-live hypercare support
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with experience within Coupa
- Strong expertise in procurement processes, contract lifecycle management, and supplier risk assessment frameworks
- Hands-on experience configuring system workflows, approval chains, and system forms
- Experience supporting or integrating with ERP systems such as SAP and Workday
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical documentation and actionable solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution processes
- Coupa certification (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Contract Management, Risk) preferred
