Carex is partnering with a Financial Services industry partner to identify an experienced Application Analyst / .NET Developer who will serve as a technical expert in analyzing, designing, and supporting complex application systems. This role operates with minimal supervision and is responsible for delivering scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions across multiple platforms, with a strong focus on .NET, TypeScript, and Oracle NetSuite technologies.

Summary

The Application Analyst / .NET Developer is an expert-level contributor responsible for evaluating business needs and translating them into efficient, high-quality application and integration solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise across .NET, TypeScript, and NetSuite, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to lead initiatives that improve system performance, reliability, and scalability. The position plays a key role in guiding development standards, resolving complex production issues, and supporting continuous improvement across enterprise systems.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze business requirements and acceptance criteria to design effective, scalable application and integration solutions
• Design, refine, and document system and application specifications aligned with established architectural and development standards
• Develop, test, debug, and implement complex application logic using .NET technologies and TypeScript
• Customize, extend, and integrate Oracle NetSuite solutions to support business processes and operational needs
• Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and internal or third-party systems using APIs and middleware tools
• Lead adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and ensure consistency in coding, testing, and design
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, identify root causes, and implement preventative solutions
• Collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to enhance system performance, reliability, and availability
• Serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert on coding, testing, debugging, and implementation best practices
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development efficiency, system quality, and maintainability
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering technical growth and productivity
• Contribute to team commitments by supporting sprint or Kanban deliverables and stepping in as needed
  
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
• 5–7 years of experience developing, testing, debugging, and documenting complex application systems across multiple technologies
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET application development
• Experience developing or supporting solutions within the Oracle NetSuite platform, including customizations and integrations
• Solid experience working with TypeScript in modern application or integration development
• At least 3 years of experience analyzing and designing application systems
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions
• Demonstrated success improving processes, performance, and reliability through technical innovation
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate unfamiliar and complex technical environments
• Experience working collaboratively within development teams, including providing mentorship and peer technical leadership
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
