Job description:
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, driven Senior Living Advisor to guide families through the process of finding the right assisted living and senior care solutions. In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource—assessing needs, educating families on care options, and coordinating placements that promote safety, dignity, and quality of life.
What sets this role apart is our dedicated back-office operations team, who handle administrative work, data entry, invoicing, and logistics—allowing Advisors to stay focused on relationship-building, referrals, and placements. This is a highly autonomous, field-based role with strong operational support behind you.
This position is ideal for someone who wants meaningful work and is motivated by performance-based earnings.
Duties
- Assess prospective clients’ care needs through in-depth conversations, including personal preferences, long-term care considerations, and financial factors
- Build and maintain relationships with families, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and community referral sources
- Facilitate and accompany clients and families on tours of assisted living communities and group homes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and facility partners to facilitate smooth transitions and move-ins
- Serve as a consistent point of contact for families throughout the placement process
Qualifications
Highly Preferred
- Background in social work, care coordination, case management, or placement services
Helpful
- Knowledge of hospice, palliative care, home health, or senior care systems (coordination-focused, not hands-on care)
- Familiarity with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) from an assessment or care-planning perspective
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (this is an active, community-based role)
- Basic first aid certification is a plus
- Experience working with seniors and families in healthcare, hospice, home health, or long-term care settings
Compensation & Structure
- Commission-based, 1099 contract position
- Starting Advisors earn 40% of collected placement revenue
- High performers can earn significant income—top Advisors have generated nearly $40,000 in revenue in a single week, translating to close to $20,000 in personal commission
- No cap on earnings; income is directly tied to performance
Work Environment
- Dynamic, field-based role: hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and client meetings
- Minimal micromanagement; Advisors generally work within the geographic areas where their referral sources are located
- Occasional team meetings and ongoing support from leadership and operations
This is meaningful, relationship-driven work that supports seniors and their families during important life transitions. The role also offers strong financial opportunity for individuals who are self-motivated, empathetic, and consistent in building trusted referral relationships. Advisors who are committed to making an impact while delivering high-quality guidance will find both purpose and professional growth in this position.
