What You’ll Do
- Assist the veterinarian with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Properly restrain feline patients using low-stress handling techniques
- Support surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring assistance
- Obtain patient histories and communicate effectively with clients
- Prepare laboratory samples and assist with diagnostics
- Maintain clean and organized treatment and exam areas
- Help create a welcoming and compassionate environment for both clients and patients
- Work collaboratively with the team to support daily hospital operations
- Veterinary Assistant experience preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important
- Passion for feline medicine and patient care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, motivated, and eager to grow professionally
- Fear Free or feline-handling experience is a plus
- Feline-only practice with a calm, focused environment
