What are the responsibilities and job description for the DevOps Engineer position at CareSphere?
We're building the infrastructure behind an agentic home care platform, and we need a DevOps Engineer who's genuinely great at the craft. someone who automates relentlessly, treats infrastructure as code, and keeps production secure and reliable.
You'll own our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, container platform, and security posture, working closely with our AI, product, and engineering teams to ship fast without breaking things.

What you'll own:
- Scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
- Infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Containerized workloads on Docker & Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines from commit to production
- Security across the full stack (DevSecOps)
- Monitoring, observability, and incident response
Qualifications:
- Hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS/ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch)
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo)
- Solid cybersecurity fundamentals — IAM, least-privilege access, secrets management, network security
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tooling, vulnerability scanning, and container hardening
- Strong scripting in Bash and Python
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or CloudWatch)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, load balancing, and DNS
- GitOps experience (ArgoCD or Flux) — a plus
- Service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) — a plus
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant certs (AWS Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD/CKS, HashiCorp Terraform Associate) — a plus
- Ability to think through system design, security, and architecture, not just implementation
