The C.A.R.E.S. Day Program, located in Tamaqua, is a unique, community-based program where individuals focus on volunteering and recreational activities while maximizing life skills, pre-vocational skills and social skills. Our goal is to ensure that individuals are not just in the community, but are known as a valuable part of their community.
As a Direct Support Professional you will take VIP's (that's what we call the participants in our programs!) to the library, bowling, volunteer sites, on picnics, as an example teaching them valuable life skills and creating social/recreation opportunities.
All candidates must be able to secure PA criminal, FBI, child abuse clearances and have a valid license and clean driving record.
