o Ability to operate office equipment including computer.
o Familiarity with Homecare Homebase and/or similar home care software.
o Familiarity with medical terminology (CPT, ICD-10, HCPC).

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under the general direction of the Business Services Manager, responsible for submitting bills, collecting monies, and ensuring authorization due for services rendered.
- Performs various duties including data entry, word processing, creating, and maintaining files, assembling, and distributing required material data for reports and projects.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
- Constant: reaching above, at and below shoulders; repetitive arm/hand motion and frequent gripping of objects.
- Frequent: standing, walking, stooping/bending, and twisting body.
- Infrequent: lifting, pushing, and carrying items up to 15 pounds.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Not subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associates degree in business or two (2) years of billing and collection work experience may be substituted for a degree.
B. EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience to demonstrate the following:
o Ability to communicate effectively English, both orally and in writing.
o Ability to operate office equipment including computer.
o Familiarity with Homecare Homebase and/or similar home care software.
o Familiarity with medical terminology (CPT, ICD-10, HCPC).
