We are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Superintendent for a multi-story commercial property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all building systems and the physical plant are properly maintained
- Maintain tenant suites in good working condition
- Conduct daily inspections of the property with attention to safety, cleanliness, and maintenance needs
- Evaluate building systems regularly to ensure optimal performance
- Respond promptly and efficiently to work orders, leaving work areas clean and organized
- Monitor and manage maintenance supply inventory
- Coordinate with and oversee outside vendors and contractors
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general plant operations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and tenants
- Professional appearance; must wear company uniform daily
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $62,000 – $73,000 annually (based on experience)
