Our employer is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Development to join their team in Palm Beach County. This full-time role leads a comprehensive fundraising program supporting access to debt-free higher education for students from underserved communities. Candidates need to currently reside in the Palm Beach County Metro area to be considered.
The Director of Development will oversee all fundraising efforts, including major and planned gifts, annual giving, capital campaigns, grants, donor events, and corporate partnerships. This individual will work closely with the CEO, Board, and staff to build and manage donor relationships, develop campaign strategy, and drive revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include managing a major gifts portfolio, expanding planned giving, leading campaigns and events, supervising development staff, overseeing grant writing, maintaining donor data systems, and representing the organization in the community.
The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of fundraising experience with a proven track record of securing six-figure gifts, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and experience managing multi-channel development programs. A bachelor’s degree is required. Evenings and weekends will be required for events and donor engagement.
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
