Adelphia Seafood, a growing wholesale and retail seafood distributor, is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance. This key management position will oversee the quality and safety of all daily operations. The responsibilities include leading the food safety system as the on-site SQF (Safe Quality Food) Practitioner. Create and/or revise all food safety and HACCP Plan documentation in accordance with the SQF Code. Performs regularly scheduled GMP and internal audits. Experience in production and purchasing oversight is a plus. Must have an SQF certificate or equivalent. The ideal candidate will be reliable, energetic, and highly motivated. Prior work history within the food industry, preferably with management or supervisory responsibilities, is required.
