ummary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable In-House Mechanic to support and maintain the mechanical operations of our powder blend manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with production equipment, a working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our blending, conveying, and packaging

systems.


Key Respon

• sibilities:
  Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on powder blending equipment, mixers, conveyors, packaging machinery, and rela
• ted systems.Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize producti
• on downtime.Utilize a CMMS to schedule, track, and document all maintenance tasks and equipm
• ent history.Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure proper machine operation and compliance with safety, quality, and sanitatio
• n standards.Assist with new equipment installation, testing, and process i
• mprovements.Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and materials, and report supply needs to the Maintenance
• Supervisor.Follow established safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, and promote a culture of workp
• lace safety.Communicate effectively with team members across departments, including bilingual communication with Spanish-spe

aking staff.

  Qualifications:
  High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technica
• l training a mustMinimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment (experience with powder or dry blend sy
• stems preferred).Proficient with CMMS platforms (e.g., Fiix, MP, SAP PM
• , or equivalent).Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic el
• ectrical systems.Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics, manuals, and te
• chnical drawings.Bilingual in English and Spanish st
• rongly preferred.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or i
• n a team setting.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in an indust
