What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at Careerscape?
Careerscape is a recruiting firm placing talent across technical and professional roles — from cleared defense and intelligence engineering positions (systems, software, DevOps, RF/hardware) to corporate and finance roles. We're growing, and we're looking for a driven, full-cycle Recruiter to source, screen, and place candidates across our open roles.
This is a remote role. We'd especially love someone in the New York / New Jersey metro area, but we're open to strong candidates anywhere.
What you'll do:
- Own the full recruiting cycle — source, screen, interview, and guide candidates through to placement
- Build and maintain talent pipelines across a variety of roles using LinkedIn, job boards, and our ATS
- Learn each role's requirements quickly and represent them accurately to candidates
- Keep candidates engaged and the pipeline moving, and hit weekly activity goals
What we're looking for:
- Recruiting or sourcing experience (agency / full-desk a plus)
- Comfortable working a range of roles and picking up technical requirements fast
- Knowledge of technical and/or cleared (TS/SCI) defense and IC recruiting is a big plus, but not required
- Self-motivated, organized, and a strong communicator who thrives in a remote, performance-driven environment
Compensation:
- Full-time, remote
- $1,000/month base stipend plus uncapped, performance-based commission on placements
