JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Funder is to ensure that loans are reviewed and funded in accordance with all investor and company guidelines. Is responsible for reviewing and verifying that all required aspects of the loan process have been met prior to wiring funds. In addition, this candidate will be responsible for reviewing documents and for balancing loans against estimates and final Closing Disclosure.

• Proficient in Microsoft office as well as ability to learn and utilize other information systems
• Minimum of 1 year residential mortgage loan or accounting experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a complete review and audit of the loan file including both legal and financial documentation
• Review all information in the title commitment, mortgage contract, and mortgage loan system
• Review accuracy of returning closing docs from title company
• Ensure accuracy of secondary lock confirmation
• Performing verification of employment for borrowers
• Electronically sort closing package in mortgage loan system by document type
• Follow up with various departments to address any outstanding conditions
• Ensure that all information is accurate prior to funding
• Monitor and track all funding documentation to ensure that all necessary paperwork has been completed and received.
• Prepare outgoing wires to title companies to meet disbursement deadline
• Complete income and employment verifications through various channels

Compensation:$19-$21 hourly plus bonus with total compensation up to 55K per year
