Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Job Location: Plainsboro NJ - Hybrid 3 Days a week in Office
Job Duration: 9 Months and Possibility of Extension
Payrate: $55.00/ hr. on w2
Additional Details:
- Local to Princeton, NJ.
- Frequency in office will be a minimum of 1-2 days/ week.
Job Summary:
- As a Payroll Specialist at Client Client, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations for over 2,500 employees across the US and Canada.
- You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to deliver seamless payroll services using advanced systems and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timely and accurate payroll processing for US and Canada using ADP Workforce Now (Canada) and SuccessFactors/SAP Payroll (US).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial tax regulations; register entities with tax authorities and resolve tax notices.
- Validate payroll for expatriates and stock option processing in partnership with external providers.
- Oversee year-end activities, including W-2 and T4 issuance and testing.
- Generate ad hoc payroll reports using SAP and ADP reporting tools.
- Support system enhancements and integration projects; perform configuration, testing, and validation in SuccessFactors, SAP, and ADP Workforce Now.
- Assist with internal and external audits (benefits, pension, worker’s compensation) through accurate reconciliation of payroll and tax data.
Experience:

7 years in US and Canadian payroll operations.
Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, SuccessFactors, and SAP Payroll; strong MS Office and reporting analytics skills.
Compliance Knowledge:

Expertise in US FLSA, IRS regulations, and Canadian employment standards.
Certifications:

PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred.
