Job Summary:
Under general supervision, follows standard operating procedures and protocols for all bedside patient registration activities, including patient reception, face-to-face check-in, preregistration, insurance eligibility verification, and cash collections.
Performs new patient registrations, updates demographic and insurance information, and responds to inquiries from patients and callers. Acts as an advocate to ensure customer needs are met and provides a welcoming, efficient, and service-oriented experience while maintaining strong customer relationship management.

Skills & Experience:
Required:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, or insurance eligibility/verification in a hospital or medical office setting
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills across phone, in-person, and written communication
- Ability to stand for extended periods and provide guidance to others
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Preferred:
- EPIC experience or training
- Experience with insurance payer systems
- Knowledge of ICD-10 medical terminology

Schedule:
- 3 days per week
- 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM 6:30 AM)

- Overtime applicable after 48 hours
