Position Summary
The Archiver role supports records management activities across departments by assisting in the evaluation, organization, compliance, and lifecycle management of business records. This role requires strong attention to detail, collaboration, and proficiency in data handling tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating and identifying records management needs for departments and workgroups based on:
- Volume of records
- Type of official records
- Confidentiality requirements
- Business continuity needs
- Support the development of procedures for:
- Record creation
- Storage and control
- Retention and disposal
- Gather and analyze user requirements to recommend improvements in:
- Information creation
- Storage
- Retrieval and collaboration
- Provide user support for document and records management systems, including troubleshooting issues
- Assist in developing and maintaining:
- Records compliance programs
- Records retention schedules
- Analyze departmental records, classify them appropriately, and determine retention values
- Support implementation and monitoring of compliance programs to ensure adherence to policies
- Contribute to quality assurance practices, including:
- Reporting mechanisms
- Performance metrics for document management systems
- Collaborate with departments to identify and protect vital records
- Create and maintain documentation for workflows and processes related to records management
Required Skills (Must Have)
- Strong autonomy and self-driven work ethic
- Experience with Power BI (PBI)
- Understanding of Agile (Agility) practices
- Strong collaboration skills
- Proficiency in data entry with high attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel is critical)
