Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated individual for a crucial role within a small yet effective team. In this position, you will be responsible for receiving and processing orders, preparing quotes, and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders. You will be the central hub of the business process, liaising with customers, suppliers, teammates, and others involved in the sales and supply process.
With your collaborative and team-oriented attitude, you will have the opportunity to grow within the company, potentially moving up to outside sales or operations roles as the branch expands. This is a unique opportunity to join a small-company environment with the backing of a national group of independent companies.
Responsibilities:
- Processing orders and preparing quotes
- Maintaining communication with customers, suppliers, and teammates
- Using the ERP system to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries
- Handling special orders, pricing, and tracking
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience or strong aptitude
- Demonstrated organizational and multitasking skills
- Above average reasoning ability
- Experience with product line or marketplace
- Reliability and flexibility for team work
- Basic MS Office skills
- Ability to read and differentiate alpha- and alphanumeric listings
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Mechanical aptitude
- Physical ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs
