Pay Packages (Estimated Weekly)
Local: $40 - $42/hr (lives within 60 miles of site) $1600 - $1680/week
Travel Pay: (Lives outside 60 mile radius and requires overnight stay)
Total Weekly Gross Pay: $1821.00
Breakdown (Estimated):
- Taxable Hourly Rate: $20.50
- Non-Taxable Housing Stipend: $665/week
- Non-Taxable Meals & Incidentals: $336/week
Additional Compensation:
- Overtime (after 40 hours) OT must be approved by director before any OT hours are worked.

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for an outpatient clinic setting. This is an urgent coverage need, and candidates who can start quickly will receive priority consideration. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment and supporting patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and mobility limitations.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training
- Document patient progress and treatment responses
- Educate patients on home exercise programs
- Maintain a safe and organized clinical environment
- Collaborate with therapy and administrative staff
Requirements
Required:
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in Oregon
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Current BLS certification
- Prefer 1 year recent outpatient or clinic experience, but New Grads are accepted and welcomed!
- Ability to work full scheduled hours
- Productivity expectation is 60 visits/week; Will see 12-14 patients/day; Double-booking of follow up visits expected
- Must have ready to send in: MMR, Varicella, dTap, recent TB and physical, Drivers' License.
Preferred:
- Prior travel experience
- Experience with orthopedic or sports rehabilitation patients
- EMR documentation experience
