Overview:
Due to growth, Mountaineer Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is now hiring a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist Assistant for an Outpatient Orthopedics position in Summersville, WV. Full-time availability is preferred. 40 hours per week are available.
Caseload / Patient Population:
The Physical Therapist Assistant hired will work with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses. The clinic primarily focuses on general orthopedics.
The patient population is of all ages. Patient care is 1:1, providing direct patient care with 1-hour follow-ups.
Our ideal candidate is passionate, empathic, and talented, a team player with an interest in manual therapy. We are seeking a candidate who strives to make a difference in their patients' lives. New grad PTAs are welcome, and mentorship is available. If hired for this role, the team will ensure that you are fully comfortable.
Work Schedule:
The clinic is open Monday to Friday. No weekends or major holidays!
Most PTAs on staff work Monday-Friday, 8 am - 6 pm, with an hour lunch break. The schedule can be flexible based on the needs of the candidate hired.
Compensation and Benefits:
Physical Therapist Assistants are paid a competitive hourly rate based on experience. A brand-new grad can expect to receive an hourly rate of $23. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.
Benefits include a health stipend, 401k, and short-term / long-term disability.
Job Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Associate's program.
Eligible for Physical Therapist Assistant License in West Virginia.
Open to all experience levels, including new grad PTAs and seasoned physical therapist assistants.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Full-time is required.
